The Best for a Permanent Installation!

Posted by BOB on 28th Nov 2013

These clamps hold extremely tight and will not slip whatsoever. It makes a slight dent in the truss, but, SAFETY is our number one goal.
The best clamp for all lights and equipment!
I would not use anything else....

A Cheap Clamp That Does More Harm Than Good

Posted by Sam D on 20th Jul 2013

This was the first kind of clamp I ever got. I got these when I was first starting out as a DJ trying to save money because these clamps were the cheapest I could find. Well I learned to never go on the cheap side. If you are a mobile DJ with a tripod or truss, do not get these clamps. When you tighten the clamps to the tripod or truss, it usually leaves dents and scratches which doesn't look professional and you have to replace your stands more often. So, the next time I got lights, I went with "O" Clamps which makes hanging lights easier and it won't dent or scratch your tripod or truss. This clamp would work best in a permanent installation for things like stage work. Not recommended for mobile DJs. This clamp will damage your tripod and truss over time so I highly recommend getting "O" clamps for any type of light.
