    Good for really small lights

Posted by Chris on 19th Jun 2016

Needed something to hold an LED Fury and 2 small laser lights. B2 recommended this 9ft tripod. Worked out pretty well but I believe the LED Fury is just a tad too heavy for this tripod. If you are not cautious about how to place the leg of the tripod under the light to prevent it from tipping over as well as adding some counterweight you may damage your gear. Seems fairly sturdy but only time will tell. Overall for the price it was a good buy and will come in handy for other small events.

    For Beginners.

Posted by Brandon Dexter on 4th Oct 2015

It's a great stand for beginners. But you get what you pay for. The design seems a little cheap, so if you plan to hang heavy lights, would definitely go with a more expensive, sturdier model. For instance a American DJ Stinger and 2 mini kintas makes me pretty worried when i hang them all up. And a few times the bolts used to tighten the pole into place so it doesnt swing, have failed me. Would definitely go for a more expensive stand. You get what you pay for, so if you have expensive lights, don't settle for an inexpensive stand

Great Light Stand for a beginner

Posted by Unknown on 6th Jun 2015

This is the first light stand I bought. It's great, and has lots of room for lights. Very sturdy. One thing you should know, the cross bar is square, not round. Not a big deal, unless you're planning on using O-clamps.
